Without it's 12.5 members, Challenge 2014 could never taken place, therefore we say a very special thanks and congratulations to (in no particular order):
Sammie (the creator of C14, speed swimmer, chief moaner ;-) , Pink Power Ranger)
Sarah (the co-creator of C14, LLR liaison, half marathon family record beater)
Teri (the marathon mum!)
Penny (the marathon baby (now toddler))
+ Georgia (the next Duckworth athlete on the production line, our 0.5 :-))
Matt (lycra shorts model, hill demon, tube project manager, Red Power Ranger)
Rob (10km Santa running machine!)
Dom (rockstar, marathon runner, chief C14 beard wearer)
Claire (10k runner, racing bike stunt woman extraordinaire, provider of malt loaf)
Libby (saver of rabbits, tester of puncture repair kits, whisky expert)
Ems (deep muddy puddle tester, swollen knee carrier, Yellow Power Ranger)
Scotty (chief bouncer arounder, best fitting morph suit wearer, Green Power Ranger)
Johno (involuntary blood donor, live electric cable tester, Black Power Ranger)
Also a very special mention to our valued support crew who braved wind, rain and probable boredom:
Ian, Pip, Doug, Laurence, Kate, Scott & Ems' families.
The events.
Two half marathons. Two triathlons. Two 10k's. Two Grims. The coast to coast cycle. A Tough Mudder. The London tube challenge. A one mile sea swim. A two mile lake swim.
The really important bit.
We are delighted to say that our friend has entered remission. He and other's like him are the true heroes. We have been so proud to support LLR over the past year and thank everyone for their generous donations and words of support.
THANK YOU and here's to more adventures in 2015...
